Soap, soap, and more soap!

We’re hearing lots of things about how to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, but one piece of guidance is consistent and extremely clear: wash your hands! To do that, you need soap, and just look at all the great soap products we have.

The Co-op carries many varieties of hand soap in super aromatic scents -- like Mrs. Meyer’s Lemon Verbena and Rose *($3.76 for a 12.5 oz container) or Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Liquid or Bar Soap ($3.43 a bar) or Liquid Soap in a range of fragrances. Buy them all and give them a try!

You can also fill up on soap from the Unscented Company in our bulk section if you are stopping in for groceries before going back home and hunkering down. Just remember to bring your own container — and cleaning wipes, if you have some! It’s important that we try to limit our exposure to germs so we don’t continue the spread of the coronavirus.

Need a reminder on how to wash your hands thoroughly and completely so we don’t spread any germs? Just follow the steps on this chart while singing a 20 second tune to yourself (here’s some inspiration). And remember: it’s our shared responsibility to reduce the spread of the virus by washing our hands and distancing ourselves physically for the greater good. We’ll get through this by caring for one another.
